Marnie has been working with nonprofit organizations and boards throughout the country in the areas of strategic planning, governance, marketing and fund development planning since 2000. She also has been a faculty member of The Fund Raising School, a program of the Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University, since 1990.
Prior to her work as a consultant, she was Vice President for The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, one of the nation’s premier cultural institutions. Her museum experience includes leadership roles in fundraising, marketing, strategic planning and earned income programs.
Marnie’s current volunteer work includes serving as a member of the boards of Metropolitan Indianapolis Public Broadcasting Foundation and the Indianapolis Art Center. She is a former board chair of Girls, Inc. and the Marion County Commission on Youth (MCCOY), as well as being a Sustaining Member of the Junior League of Indianapolis.
She received both a B.A. in journalism and an MBA in marketing from Indiana University.
